: What do I do if online incident reporting is not right for me?

Answer
: If your incident is an emergency, call 9-1-1. If non-emergency call 413-773-5411.


Question
:  What if this happened in another town or city outside of Greenfield, or if it occurred on Interstate Route 91 ? Can I file a report using this online police citizen reporting system?

Answer
:  No. If a crime took place outside of the City of Greenfield please call the police department for that city or town.  If the incident occurred on Interstate Route 91 please call the Shelburne Falls Barracks of the Massachusetts State Police at (413) 625-6311.


Question: What if a non-criminal incident happened on either the Greenfield Community College Main or Downtown campuses ? Can I file a report using this on-line police citizen reporting system?

Answer
:  Possibly.  If a non-criminal incident took place on the campuses, you should report it to the Greenfield Community College Department of Public Safety . If a non-serious crime occurred on either campus, you should report it to the Greenfield Police Department and the online system may be appropriate depending on the type and seriousness of the crime.  Link to their Department of Public Safety is here:

: A person is a "known suspect" when you or someone else knows the identity or location of the person(s) who committed the crime or the license plate number of the vehicle the suspect(s) were in.
