In 2010 the Town of Greenfield experienced a rise in crimes compared to 2009.
Crimes against persons increased by twenty eight (28%) percent.
These crimes included a murder/suicide, increase in sexual assaults, assaults, and kidnapping.
Crimes against property stayed the same as 2009 but with a one hundred twenty five percent (125%) increase in robberies and an increase of one hundred twenty-two (122%) percent in larcenies.
Crimes against Society increased by seven (7%) percent.
